On March 30, 2026, Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) held a ceremony to donate a vehicle to Chuong My General Hospital for operational use. The initiative reflects PVcomBank’s commitment to supporting the healthcare sector by improving facilities, strengthening operational efficiency and enhancing the quality of community healthcare.

The ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organisations, including Dr. Tran Xuan Khuyen, Secretary of the Hospital’s Party Committee and Director of Chuong My General Hospital, and Mr. Phan Quang Chung, Director of Regions 1 and 2, Retail Banking Division at PVcomBank.

At the ceremony, PVcomBank donated a Toyota Innova Cross 2.0 HEV worth approximately VND 1.091 billion. The vehicle will support the Hospital’s day-to-day operations, including management and supervision of medical services, staff travel for professional activities and cooperation, external relations and emergency response when required.

The cooperation aims to improve the quality of community healthcare

Speaking at the event, a PVcomBank representative emphasised: “Healthcare remains one of society’s highest priorities. As demand for medical services continues to grow, investment in facilities and operational resources is increasingly important. We believe the vehicle donated today will provide practical support for doctors and medical staff in their work, helping improve the quality of patient care. PVcomBank remains committed to long-term support for the healthcare sector and Chuong My General Hospital in particular, with the shared goal of delivering better healthcare for the community”.

The vehicle donation is one of several initiatives following the comprehensive cooperation agreement signed by PVcomBank and Chuong My General Hospital in January 2026. Since then, the two sides have implemented a number of practical measures, including opening the Hospital’s payment account at PVcomBank, introducing cashless hospital fee payments and providing payroll services for all Hospital employees.

Dr. Tran Xuan Khuyen, Director of Chuong My General Hospital, noted: “We greatly appreciate PVcomBank’s continued support and practical contribution. The donated vehicle will help improve management and operations while supporting our medical staff in carrying out their duties. It is also a meaningful source of encouragement as the Hospital continues to improve the quality of medical services and better serve the community”.
